9. PTA “Challenge Scholarship”: This Scholarship has been instituted by the P.T.A. of the school as a challenge to our students towards attaining merit at the S.S.C. Board Examination. The minimum qualification for securing the scholarship shall be aggregate marks of 85% and above at the S.S.C. Board Examination held in the month of March every year.

a. A sum of Rs. 1,000/- shall be awarded to the student of this school who secures the minimum aggregate qualifying marks as above and ranks first.

b. A sum of Rs. 500/- shall be awarded to the student of this school who secure the minimum aggregate qualifying marks as above and ranks second.

20. Retired Office Staff (2001-2002) of St. Mary’s High School & Jr. College Kalina, Scholarship Rs.10,000.00. The interest of the said amount should be given to the child/children of the staff of St. Mary’s High School/St Mary’s Jr. College, (both Teaching and non-teaching) and the K.G. (Teaching & Peons only) who have scored highest marks at the HSC/SSC Examination as per the conditions given below.

The staff above mentioned should be permanent (Put in at least 2 years completed service on the day of the result (HSC/SSC) the child can be student of any school within India.

First option for scholarship should be given to the HSC child, and then to the SSC.

If no student is eligible it will be carried forward to the next year and distributed together with that year’s Interest according to the above condition.
